East Warren Vineyardis located on a spectacular ridge above the Mad River Valley of Vermont. With a Southwest facing slope, and an altitude of almost 1500 ft, we enjoy a micro-climate that produces extraordinary fruit for wine! Our altitude and location along the slopes of The Northfield Range ensures that our vines do not experience the same ultra cold temperatures that occur on the valley floor. We are also able to avoid many of the spring and autumn frosts that affect lower altitudes. Cold winters and warm summers combine to create the perfect environment for our mountain grown Frontenac Gris Table Wine. Crisp, steely, reminiscent of an Alsatian Riesling, or Austrian Grunner Veltliner, our terroir stands up to the best vineyard sites in Vermont.
